Overview of Course Modules

In the Introduction to Tribal Concepts Module, you will be introduced to key terms and concepts to provide a foundation for this course.

In the Federal Indian Law and Policy Module, you gain both a historical and current perspective of the federal government's policy toward Indian tribes.

You will also be introduced to jurisdictional issues, the topic of tribal and state relations, and legislation relevant to Indian tribes.

In the Cultural Orientation Module, you will learn generally about Native American cultures. You will also learn about the importance of cultural sensitivity when working with Native Americans and tribal governments.
